Obsidian Ridge Wine Co. is a Sonoma-based winery farming on volcanic land in the Mayacamas Mountains at 2,875 feet elevation. The company produces wines from two vineyards: Obsidian Ridge Vineyard, planted 20 years ago on volcanic terrain, and Poseidon Vineyard in Napa Carneros, planted in 1973. Each bottle sold donates $25 in school supplies, and tastings can direct 10% of proceeds to causes of the host's choice.
