Rhys Vineyards operates eight estate mountain vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Mendocino County, producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Founded by Kevin Harvey, the winery was established after initial planting in 1995 and first barrel production in 2000, with subsequent vineyard plantings between 2001 and 2016. The winery employs gravity-flow cave wineries and a minimal-intervention winemaking approach using native yeast and no fining or filtration.
