Larkmead Vineyards is a 115-acre family-owned estate in Calistoga, Napa Valley, originally founded in 1895 and owned by the Solari-Baker family since 1948. The vineyard features diverse soils from ancient riverbed deposits and is farmed organically, with winemaker Avery Heelan producing wines from small lots separated by clonal selection and soil type. The estate has undergone modern transformation since 1997, including construction of a state-of-the-art winery in 2005 designed by architect Howard Backen.
