Knapp Winery, established in 1983 in Romulus on the shores of Cayuga Lake, is a pioneer of the Finger Lakes wine region known for premium reds including Cabernet Franc (the first planted and vinified in the Finger Lakes), Saperavi, and Blaufrankisch, alongside signature Rieslings and Chardonnay. The winery opened the first restaurant on Cayuga Lake in 1992 and offers tastings, wine dinners, and live music events.
